Although Ivi has been home from Ghana for over a year, we continue to watch for Ghana-related news, events, whatever. Today, while listening to music from the Playing for Change site (brother Dennis sent along some of his favorite links there), I discovered this:

rDay One-Hundred-Thirty-Three
Today we visit the old red barn — could have been a business from my childhood — that houses the glass guy’s business. This was my first time, but Kim has had previous transactions and conversations with him. He showed us a picture of 1913 Ford Model T Speedster (not pictured here, unfortunately), then fixed a new rock chip in the PF’s windshield. We got to witness the dismissal of a new employee who wouldn’t clean windshields and hear many tales of many kinds.
rDay One-Hundred-Thirty-Two
The highlight, or lowlight, of this day was a visit to Dr. J.S. for a little outpatient procedure. Kim accompanied me to make sure that I would show up for this one.
Then we make the typical shopping round for a Tuesday, looking for store specials and checking out farmers’ market. (And watching for automobilia of interest along the way and visiting the Safeway magazine stand.)
Windows 10 Phones Home

From the Montana Wedding
The Intrepid Travelers / Wedding Guests — Ivi, Olivia and Marina — came home with well over 600 images from their trip. We are just starting to go through the collection. Here is a pic (don’t know which photographer of the three gets attribution) of Conor and Larkin, descending.
More to follow, I’m sure.
rDay One-Hundred-Thirty-One
A gray day for a change, meaning a lot of difference in shadows and photographic approaches. Walking a long loop around town, I take in side streets, local bikers, Eric and his shop (where I see his personal project Toyota Land Cruiser, being rebuilt from the ground up after he “took off every single, stinking bolt”) and cars and trucks in general. Returning home about 2.5 hours later, Ivi and I almost immediately take off on errands, including a visit to the former workplace to get a second opinion on her smashed smartphone.
Birds at Ladd Marsh, Yesterday
Here is Kim’s list of birds she saw yesterday during the FOLM First Saturday Bird Walk, including links to more information on each:
rDay One-Hundred-Thirty: Charlie Meets A New Friend, Sort Of
Up early to try to beat the predicted 101 degree heat. Revisited an old favorite, Morgan Lake, for proximity to water. An unknown canine meets up with Charlie, accompanies us on two loops around the lake, and even tries to go home with us. No owner was discovered.
Some B&W experiments, fwiw …
