Today we head for an early afternoon dog walk, taking advantage of a display of sun in an otherwise rainy day. Riverside Park — haven’t been there for some time. Clouds darken, rain begins, we drive back in rain and deepening darkness. Just as we pull into home parking, we are hit with — hail. Safe and cozy back home we can continue viewing the PBS American Experience World War I special series, “The Great War” (highly recommended, incidentally).
