Dennis and Lawrence (circa 1947)

Ran across this one again, although I’m sure that I have shared or published it in times past.  That’s me, squinting into the sun, with my younger brother, Dennis, standing behind my grandfather’s 1940 Ford Standard Tudor and near my father’s 1937 Chevrolet.  One of my uncles, probably Howard, appears in the background, left, near the steps of the grandparents’ house.  Rural Iowa hill country.  Photographer unknown, probably my mother.
