Leaving Charlie to fend for himself, we stroll downtown to visit old colleagues David (voted nicest guy in Tech Support) and Erik (scary-smart programming wizard). Wander about the main drag. All using an analog-era fixed-focal length “normal” lens just now brought out of retirement to shake things up a bit.

At about 8am, we see a very rare but rough example of an early (ca. 2000) Honda Insight electric hybrid. Next, a circa 1956 Chevy pickup, plus a Texas Range Rover (Sport model). We take a look at fields just outside of town, then we stroll past the local cannabis store.

Miscellany on this sunny day … Discovered today and am reading a new book found at the Library, the Smithsonian’s “The VietNam War: The Definitive Illustrated History“, chock full of photographs, maps, graphics, and textual accounts.
