After lunch as I started for the door to walk to my workplace for the afternoon, I saw the neighboring condo’s display of the American flag, and suddenly realized that this was a recognition of 9/ll. Usually my walk to work is a sort of mediation when I let thoughts and actions (and photographs) flow as they will. But today I decided to take the twenty-five-minute stroll as an opportunity to do a kind of flag-oriented photo essay …
