Awoke to cold and dense fog on this Sunday morning.  Took a three-mile walk to Mountain View Cemetery, then in the afternoon visited downtown, still gray and foggy.

Continued fascination with the seediness and other elements in the two or three blocks of Second Avenue on the edge of downtown … (see HHR for more of the Second Avenue project)

Visiting a local recommended auto repair shop this morning. Met a charming 85-year-old retired college prof (not pictured) and dog lover who was in to service her Ford Escape.  Met Derek (not pictured), the shop owner and seemingly good guy.
