Another painfully boring weather report:

rDay Seven-Hundred-Fifty
Today we head for an early afternoon dog walk, taking advantage of a display of sun in an otherwise rainy day. Riverside Park — haven’t been there for some time. Clouds darken, rain begins, we drive back in rain and deepening darkness. Just as we pull into home parking, we are hit with — hail. Safe and cozy back home we can continue viewing the PBS American Experience World War I special series, “The Great War” (highly recommended, incidentally).
rDay Seven-Hundred-Forty-Eight
Everything (so far) today was shot on the fly through car window glass, while being whisked to ‘n’ fro on what passes for shopping adventures. This is our life.
Ghana on My Mind
Today we come upon a couple of Ghana-related items in the news, as our Ghana consciousness was raised considerably from the time of Ivi’s stint there.

Rising Waters Threaten China’s Rising Cities
Climate change is massively affecting China, and thus adversely affecting the rest of the world economy, says this New York Times special report. Includes photography by Josh Haner of the NYT as well as an interactive map.

The weekend begins …
Twin Falls, Follow-Up
While (Kim was) shopping today, I picked up the April 2017 issue of Fast Company at the magazine shelves and read the remarkable story of Hamdi Ulukaya. This, on the heels of the recent “Twin Falls” post on Chobani.
The Wade Quads
Okay, I’m trying to find something positive at least once a week in the news. Here’s one:
Twin Falls
Here the New York Times tells us something about our (sort of) neighbor in nearby Idaho.
