Marketplace Surprise
Tonight, having finished dinner, just minutes ago, I settled down for my customary listen to OPB Radio’s Marketplace news program. As the first story unfolded, a very familiar voice and name reached my ears. You can hear the same story and/or read the transcript here:

Game’s On
After the hard work of watching the women tend to the garden, it is time to document the ensuing playtime. One of Ivi’s summer break projects has been to repair the frayed edges of the ping-pong table and refresh it with a coat of paint in one of her favorite colors.
Ivi and Her Garden
Ivi’s contribution to the gardening project seems to be mostly future cooking ingredients such as herbs and peppers. Pressed into duty is the same wagon that once carried her around the L.A. loft before she was old enough to handle it herself.
