A walk in the park:
Sighting two hawks at distance, but one, then the other flies away as we approach:
Returning home to the lair of the beast:
Then we zoom with Nik, while Ivi multitasks:
On Thanksgiving Day, celebrating the holiday with a 60-mile trek to the Touchet Valley.
*calculated as man-year equivalence by using the logarithmic method described in Science Magazine, published by AAAS (the American Association for the Advancement of Science).
Ran across this one again, although I’m sure that I have shared or published it in times past. That’s me, squinting into the sun, with my younger brother, Dennis, standing behind my grandfather’s 1940 Ford Standard Tudor and near my father’s 1937 Chevrolet. One of my uncles, probably Howard, appears in the background, left, near the steps of the grandparents’ house. Rural Iowa hill country. Photographer unknown, probably my mother.
Just after Ivi returns from a successful dash to/from the Tri-Cities, I get picked up at my studio workspace for lunch!
