rDay Seven-Hundred-Fifty-One
Another painfully boring weather report:
rDay Seven-Hundred-Fifty
Today we head for an early afternoon dog walk, taking advantage of a display of sun in an otherwise rainy day. Riverside Park — haven’t been there for some time. Clouds darken, rain begins, we drive back in rain and deepening darkness. Just as we pull into home parking, we are hit with — hail. Safe and cozy back home we can continue viewing the PBS American Experience World War I special series, “The Great War” (highly recommended, incidentally).

Velouria Supports Immigrants & Refugees
Ivi called today, and we learn that Velouria is supporting a local Seattle nonprofit by donating 20% of its profits on Wednesdays (#womxnswednesdays) this month. The nonprofit, Muses, provides job training for immigrants and refugees and educates them on their workers’ rights.
Shop online or if you are in Seattle, drop in to say hi to Chika and Ivi and the rest of this amazing woman-force.

Another gray-sky afternoon. Marching about with Charlie-Woof.

Everything (so far) today was shot on the fly through car window glass, while being whisked to ‘n’ fro on what passes for shopping adventures. This is our life.
