Bird Photography Done Right

Kim recently joined or maybe is investigating the possibility of joining the local Audubon group of birding enthusiasts.  On her Charlie-walks, she takes binoculars and a bird ID app on her phone and exhibits other birding-intense behavior.  As I occasionally capture the odd bird (mostly crows) on my own photo-walks using a short (i.e., wrong) lens, handholding and hoping for luck, she has pointed me to the Audubon group’s Facebook page where some excellent photo work is shown.  For example, click through on, and take a look at the half-dozen or so images in the January 4 posting at this link:
