rDay Seven-Hundred-Fifty-Four

This afternoon’s Charlie-Walk occasioned an encounter with one Clayton D. and his vintage ’55 (early) Chevy half-ton.  He acquired it seventeen years ago after it was retired from a Baker City construction company, brought it back to life and has used it as his daily work truck ever since.  Somewhat reminiscent of the old Chevy truck we had on the farm, Clayton’s sports a well-earned patina, an original wood bed and “power” steering.

The remainder of the stroll was relatively uneventful, with highlights documented below:
