rDay Three-Hundred-Eighty-Two

This morning we head up Bushnell Trail and on to Glass Hill Ridge to visit “Kim’s Spot” (which I had never seen) and have outdoor brunch.  On the way, we walk and chat with the Bushnell property owner (a pistol-packing woman of well beyond my age who was quite friendly and welcoming but soon left us behind in her dust, but not before telling us of how a bear chased her dog and relating other incidents of her family’s encounters with cougar, wolves and other wildlife).  We took in sweeping-vista views of the valley, easily encompassing all three peaks, Mt. Emily, Mt. Harris and Mt. Fanny.  Turns out that Kim’s Special Spot affords the best views we have seen yet.  Two or so hours well spent, even if the world doesn’t need yet another picture of Mt.
