rDay Three-Hundred-Seventy-Nine: Elijah and Christy
Today’s unexpected but most welcome guests are Gabrielle’s oldest, the Hollywood-handsome Elijah, and his charming betrothed, Christy, here enjoying the warming April weather with our own superstar Nik. Elijah and Christy are traveling the U.S. West, keeping an eye open for settlement ground after they marry and Elijah finishes his eight year or more stint with Uncle S. They were gone after a couple of hours, headed west, of course, but we miss ’em already.
SIDEBAR: The last time I remember seeing Elijah he was tossing food from his highchair perch, on the same Iowa day that Nik took his first unassisted walk across the room, ever. Aren’t kids great?
